Parking Rule on the Number of Cars Per Unit

Putnam Village Residents,

It has been observed that some residents, both owners and renters have been disregarding the long-established Parking Regulations here at Putnam Village. The rule that this notice is focused on is the "number of parking spots" that each Unit (i.e. Townhouse) is authorized to use.

Every Unit (i.e. Townhouse) is allotted one reserved parking spot and one unreserved parking spot for a total of two (2) parking spots for a total of two (2) cars. If a unit has more than two (2) cars at any time, those additional cars are required to be parked on Putnam Blvd, not in the parking lots. Also, it is the responsibility of owners that rent their units to notify their renters about this as well as all of the other regulations. Failure to comply with these parking rules may result in fines.

All of the Putnam Village regulations can be found on this website under the Rules & Regulations page and the link to the "Declaration".

Section 6: PARKING of that "Declaration" starting on page 50 has all of the regulations that we are governed by as far as parking is concerned.

Rule #2 from Section 6 of the Declaration states:

A Unit owner, leaseholder, tenant, guest or other occupant shall not park in a space designated as reserved for another Unit without that Unit owner's consent. Units having more than two vehicles must park those additional vehicles on Putnam Boulevard. Each Unit owner, leaseholder, occupant or tenant is responsible for seeing that his or her families, visitors, invitees, employees, or agents do not park in spaces designated for other units.
